IN CASE OF A FIRE
... HERE’S WHAT TO DO:
It is extremely unlikely, that you will be involved in a fire while staying with us. The Aston Braga Hotel & Residence
meets strict fire code requirements and has taken every precaution to protect you from being harmed by such
an event. The following, outlines what to do and what precautions to take should there be a fire.
Please take a moment to read this.

FIRST THING
• Locate at least two exits convenient to your room.
• Find the fire alarm and the extinguisher in your area.
• Extinguisher is located in each Maid’s closet area of each room.
• Learn how to shut off your air-conditioner.
• Check the building evacuation plan posted on the back of your room door.

WHEN YOU FIND A FIRE
• Push the nearest fire alarm (located near the “02” Room on each floor).
• Phone the Emergency Service Centre # 777 to report the fire and its location.
• If possible, close doors around the area to prevent the fire from spreading.
• Check the building evacuation plan posted on the back of your room door.
• Do not attempt to fight a large fire. Use fire extinguisher on small fires only.
• If the fire is large, attempt to exit the building making sure that you take your room key/card
with you.
• Keep calm, do not rush and proceed to evacuation point (back road area).
